Naam Foundation’s educational project Sambuyá den herensia di Kòrsou – Dive into the heritage of Curaçao was developed and implemented by archaeologist dr. Wynne Minkes, based on an idea by archaeologist Claudia Kraan. The project aimed to provide easily accessible information about aspects of Curaçao’s heritage for teachers and students on primary education and high school levels. Wynne Minkes conducted original research and interviewed local experts to create the content. All educational letters are in both Dutch and Papiamentu. The Dutch texts were translated by Lucille Berry. Ariadne Faries was responsible for the design and pictures. The project was funded by the UNESCO Participation Program.
The sections shared here feature the educational documents specifically related to archaeology. For the complete project materials, visit the NAAM Foundation’s website: https://naam.cw/2018/12/03/sambuya-den-herensia-di-korsou/
